“I bought a TV from Premier Sound. They delivered it. Hooked up all my other equipment to it and showed me how to use everything. They were great they beat Bestbuy by 50 bucks.!! I will go back for my next tv.” -

Best place to go for equipment & Installation
“I have recently purchased a whole house audio system and installation. The installers were great, even though they had to work around some difficult issues presented by a 25 year old house. These guys know what they are doing. \n \nI have purchased televisions from them in the past, and they always price matched with chains like Best Buy without being asked to. They have also been very responsive to issues when I am in need of service. Dealing with the guys at Premier is SO much better than calling 888-BESTBUY, sitting on hold for hours, and then being referred to a service company from Bloomington for an appointment next week. ” -

The worst company in Champaign!!!
“This is the worst company in Champaign. Their installers are great and provide quality customer service. The office people and the owner are shady and only care about making a commission. Their equipment goes out soon after the warranty period. They won't give you the mappings to your home, so you are forced to have them do the work. I've bought equipment at Walmart and Best Buy that have lasted longer than the stuff I bought from them. Spent around $8,000 with them and they treat me like trash. If I had to do all over again, I'd have Picture Perfect, Good Vibes, or Best Buy do the work. They are great at slamming their competition, but then they don't back it up. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. IF YOU DO, I FEEL FOR YOU.” -

Hope never have to go
“If you ever feel like meeting mean, arrogant, shameless, careless, do not care about your business kinds, you should definitely visit this place on Bradley and Prospect.\nThey would sell parts only if you let them install. Unlucky for me, they are the only authorized dealer. Had to suck up to them.” -

20th Century TV and Stereo Center
Mayberry USA Run Amok
“\n20th Century looks like a quaint storefront repair shop, and the elderly couple who run it know how to fix pretty much anything. But the cons here far outweigh the pros. You'll wait six to eight weeks for any word that your equipment is being serviced. The prices on new gear are exorbitant. And don't even think about returning something. I'd taken equipment there a few times for repairs, and had recommended them to friends, but when I tried to return a pair of speakers I'd bought -- unopened, with a receipt clearly stating All returned goods must be accompanied by this bill -- the owner, Mitch, flatly refused to accept it, and then, when I protested, began to curse at me and told me he had 100,000 customers and didn't need me, a guy who'd only had a lowly receiver fixed a few times. Big deal, he sniffed. For a moment, I thought he might reach under the counter and haul out a shotgun. I was made to feel like a criminal. I've never experienced such aggressive behavior from a merchant. It was absurd. The e-commerce world may be killing them, but that ain't the way to meet the challenge, by berating good customers who've supported you. Unbelievable.”
